1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the QuikChef mobile application (“App,” “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are entered into between you and Quikvard Studio (“Quikvard,” “we,” “us”).

2. Description of the service

QuikChef is a digital recipe notebook that lets you write down, organize, and keep your own recipes. Free-text recipe descriptions can be turned into structured recipes (title, ingredients, steps) using an AI-assisted parsing feature. The App also provides a shopping list and reminder/timer features.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You may sign in via email/password or Google Sign-In.
  • Notify us immediately at admin@quikvard.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Your content and our license to it

  • You retain ownership of the content you enter into the App (recipes, shopping list, images, etc.).
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely to provide the App to you, including storage, sync, and AI-assisted parsing.
  • You represent that you hold the necessary rights to any content and images you upload.

5. AI-assisted recipe creation — disclosure and limitations

  • The AI-assisted parsing feature uses a third-party AI model (Google Gemini API) to convert your free text into a structured recipe — see the Privacy Policy for details.
  • AI-generated output may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. Review the parsed recipe before relying on it.
  • QuikChef makes no warranty as to the accuracy of AI output.

6. QuikChef Pro subscription

QuikChef Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription billed through Google Play Billing (processed via RevenueCat). The current price for your country is shown in the App and in Google Play before you subscribe. It unlocks:

  • Starting to cook a recipe
  • The Processes tab
  • Unlimited AI recipe import (your first AI import is free for every user)
  • Recipe export and sharing

All other features remain free. You can cancel anytime via Google Play Store › Subscriptions; cancelling doesn't reduce access for the remainder of the period you already paid for. We don't offer partial refunds for unused time, consistent with Google Play's standard policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or upload content you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any part of the App or its subsystems.
  • Interfere with the App's infrastructure or attempt unauthorized access to any account other than your own.
  • Abuse the AI parsing feature or send excessive/automated requests.

8. Termination and account deletion

  • You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time — see the Account & Data Deletion page.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Quikvard Studio SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quikvard Studio from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the App, or content you upload without proper rights or consent.

12. Changes to the service or these terms

We may modify or discontinue features of the App, and may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
